The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA) was established under Capital Market Proclamation No. 1248/2021 as an autonomous federal regulatory body.
ECMA’s mission is to create and maintain a fair, transparent, and efficient capital market in Ethiopia. Job Title : Documentation and Inventory Officer
Job Detal
Key Responsibility
- Receive and inspect goods against purchase orders, suppliers’ invoices, and packing lists; verify quantity, quality, and condition.
- Issue materials, consumables, and fixed assets to requesting departments based on authorized requisitions.
- Safely store and safeguard all materials, spare parts, consumables, and fiîxed assets.
- Maintain store security and prevent damage, theft, fire, moisture, or other hazards.
- Keep the store clean, orderly, and well-organized.
- Prepare and process store and asset documents such as GRN, FARN, RMRN, SIV, FAIV, and RMTN, and submit them for financial recording.
- Maintain and regularly update bin cards, stock records, and inventory documentation.
- Properly file all store-related documents, including receiving vouchers, issue vouchers, and delivery notes.
- Label, classify, and arrange materials on shelves and racks according to type and category.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and assist in inventory planning.
- Conduct periodic stock checks and support year-end stock and fixed asset counts.
- Prepare and submit periodic store reports.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Qualification: Diploma / Level IV in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in storekeeping, logistics, or supply chain management. At least 1 year in a supervisory or management position is advantageous.
