Finance & HR Officer (HEO BOS – 03/26 ADD)
Job Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Salary: 1,439.40 (Base salary is subject to tax and statutory deductions under Ethiopian law) The Finance & HR Officer will play a critical role in supporting the Embassy’s operational effectiveness. Responsibilities include financial management, human resources administration, payroll processing, and guidance to managers on compliance and policy adherence. This is a highly varied role offering exposure to both finance and HR functions.
Educational Qualifications
University degree or equivalent in Finance, Human Resource Management, Business Management, or a related field.
Job Experience Minimum of three years managerial experience in finance or human resources, ideally in an international organisation, embassy, or private sector environment.
Strong knowledge of finance or HR principles and people management practices.
Candidates from a single discipline (finance or HR) must demonstrate the ability and motivation to gain proficiency in the other area.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in both finance and people/corporate roles.
- Strong familiarity with finance and HR IT systems and organisational tools.
